The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information, we do not collect information beyond the lenders requirements or requests:

  • Financial information: Income, employment details, credit history, bank account details, and financial statements information, in accordance with the Bridging Loan or Mortgage application.

  • Property information: Details of the property you are purchasing, selling, or refinancing.

  • Communication information: Records of your communications with us, including emails, phone calls, and written correspondence.

  • Technical data: IP addresses, browser type, and information collected through cookies.

How we get your personal information and why we collect it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • To assess your eligibility for mortgage products in accordance with the Lenders or Bridging Finance application requirements.

  • To process mortgage applications and provide brokerage services.

  • To communicate with you regarding your mortgage application and other services.

  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

We also receive personal information indirectly from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • Credit reference agencies: To obtain your credit report and assess your creditworthiness.

  • Employers or accountants: To verify employment and income details.

  • Public records: To verify property ownership and other relevant information relating to your loan application.

We use the information that you have given us in order to:

Your information is securely stored in our cloud-based database hosted by Google, with data centers located Globally.
We keep your personal identification and financial information for 7 years after your last interaction with us. We will then dispose of this information by permanently deleting digital records and securely shredding physical documents.

Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
